Individual Art Therapy This patient attended and participated in a 60 minute, in-person art therapy session as part of the MRIBH IOP. Presentation: affect: appropriate, mood: euthymic, level of engagement: high Session notes: Therapist checked in with pt using POSTED. AT facilitated the drawing process for pt’s drawing focused on emotional regulation and coping with neurologic injury through the calm place visualization. Patient actively participated in the art-making process and demonstrated good use of fine motor skills and following directions. He verbally reflected on liking how it was looking so far. Art-based engagement supported emotional expression and the use of adaptive coping strategies. Patient tolerated the session with no symptom exacerbation.
