Live Guest Portrait Painting
Offering your guests a live watercolor & ink portrait painting experience during your wedding or special event is a unique way to show your appreciation! Throughout your celebration, I'll paint portraits of your guests on-site, creating custom keepsakes they can take home that same day. It serves as both interactive entertainment and a personalized favor. Each piece is hand-painted with care, making your event not only memorable, but collectible!

1. Pre-Event Planning
After you inquire, I will send you a custom quote. After booking me, I will confirm guest count estimates, timeline placement for painting (for weddings, it will be the start of cocktail hour into the reception to allow enough time), and setup details. I will coordinate directly with your planner or venue, if you have one, to ensure a seamless integration into your event flow.
2. On-Site Setup
I arrive about an hour early to check in with your planner or venue to set up a styled painting station. I will need one table and a few chairs in a shaded/covered area provided for me. I can provide a table cloth, if needed. For weddings, I am able to transition from a cocktail hour table to a reception table, or I can remain in one place throughout.
3. Live Painting During the Event
Guests will stop by the table to have their photo taken during the first hour that will be referenced for painting (limit two people per painting, and guests can only be painted once to ensure that everyone gets a chance to be painted). Then, they can continue to enjoy the event while each painting is created in watercolor & ink in a minimalist style (no facial detailing). As portraits are completed, they will be displayed for pickup in a cellophane sleeve with a custom sticker seal. Each painting will take up to 10 minutes per pair, per painter.

4. Guests Take Home Their Artwork
Guests will leave with a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted keepsake from your celebration. As many portraits as possible will be completed by the end of the time contracted for. Any portraits that weren't able to be completed will be completed at my home using my reference photos and mailed to the host to distribute. Requests for portraits beyond the remaining accounted for will be subject to a discounted fee.

An artist assistant or multiple artists to direct guests, photograph guests, and assist with remaining paintings. This allows me to focus on painting for the entire duration.

Pre-event preparation, setup, and teardown

Time spent completing any remaining portraits from my home and mailing them, if applicable- if you want a guaranteed amount finished on site, we can discuss additional artist availability and pricing
Quotes are customized based on expected guest count, number of hours of painting, and travel/accommodations.
Package 1: Under 50 guests, 1 painter, 1 assistant- $950
Package 2: 50-100 guests, 2-3 painters- starting at $1600
Package 3: 101-150 guests, 3-4 painters- starting at $2050
Package 4: 151+ guests, 4+ painters- starting at $2600
Travel fees will apply for events over 30 miles each way at $.70 per business mile x the total round trip miles, plus any necessary toll/parking fees, which will all be included in the custom quote. Any event booked over two hours one way from me will require a hotel accommodation, which will also be included in the quote. Events over four hours away from me one way will require a flight. I love to travel, so any destination requests can be discussed!
